The Rose & Crown

The Robinson family, who have farmed in Teesdale for four generations, is the proprietors of The Rose & Crown. Together with a fantastic group of local personnel, Thomas Robinson and especially his wife Cheryl actively participate in the day-to-day operations of the Rose & Crown, which is known for its excellent yet informal service.

As soon as you enter, you’ll see how the inn skillfully combines modern fixtures and furniture with classic period details. The quaint bar’s polished wood ceiling, oak settle, antique prints, carriage lamps, and big dog grate make it a well-liked hangout for locals and residents.

Head chef David Hunter, who was born in Teesdale, is enthusiastic about the community and buys his goods from the best regional producers. He is committed to producing recipes that are flavorful, appetizing, and creative while preserving the goodness and flavour of premium products. Since Dave has held a head chef position at a restaurant with two Michelin stars throughout his career, his expertise and enthusiasm are obvious.

Teesdale is a serene and lovely northern dale that is ideal for walkers and nature lovers. You may go on walks along the river, hikes through rough moorland, and bike rides on peaceful country roads right outside the Rose & Crown.
