The Boar’s Head near Harrogate, North Yorkshire
The Ingilby family has lived in Ripley Castle for more than 700 years, and they still own and run The Boar’s Head. In fact, a large portion of the furnishings and a large number of the pictures are family heirlooms. All locals are welcome to take advantage of the free tickets offered to explore the historic castle and enjoy a stroll in its gorgeous deer park and gardens.
With twenty-four distinct suites, a warm bar, a cozy nook, and a formal dining room that offers seasonal dishes made with regional ingredients in a welcome ambiance inside opulent and historic surroundings.
