Englar Castle & Wine Estate in St. Michael – Eppan, South Tyrol

Englar Castle has been owned by the Counts of Khuen-Belasi for nearly 400 years. Today, it is one of the best preserved gothic castles in all South Tyrol.
Englar Castle lies nestled amongst the orchards and vineyards of the enchanting sun-kissed hills in the south of the region Überetsch, also called “God’s Paradise Garden”. The ideal vacation place for travellers who appreciate the stylish yet snug atmosphere of history-steeped walls. The ensemble of buildings, set amongst old cedars, also includes the gothic chapel of St. Sebastian, an agricultural farm, and a farm with donkeys and horses, free range chickens and geese, and a duck pond. Old trees offer plenty of shade, while the swimming pool enjoys a sunny location and offers views over to the far-away Dolomites. Come and discover deceleration at its best.
